South Australian History, previously called Flinders Ranges Research, (FRR) is a business established in 1996 and operated by Nic Klaassen. As part of its business, FRR collects a range of personal data for and on behalf of its clients for the purposes of historical research only.
FRR, Nic Klaassen and any employee/volunteer working on behalf of the former will not knowingly pass on any private information about clients collected for the administration of the business itself.
FRR, Nic Klaassen and any employee/volunteer working on behalf of the former will not knowingly pass on any information, collected in the course of historical research and publishing, to a third party without the knowledge of the primary client.
Nic Klaassen, in conjunction with FRR, operates a large number of web pages based on the promotion of the above business and South Australian history in general. Visitors to these sites are advised that no 'cookies' or other unseen records are maintained.
Nic Klaassen and any employee/volunteer working on behalf of the former will not knowingly pass on any personal information collected from Internet submissions without the knowledge of the subscriber. However, it is pointed out that neither Nic Klaassen nor any of his employees/volunteers can prevent the collection of personal data displayed on the web site by third parties.
It is understood that anyone submitting material to the sites does so in the full knowledge that such material may be collected by a third party without the permission of the submitter, or Nic Klaassen and his employees/volunteers.
It is pointed out that under the provisions of the current Australian legislation, privacy laws only apply to living persons.
